Hi [enter name of your friend],

On May 6, 2017 at 7:00am I will attempt to walk a distance of 50km in a Melbourne event called "Go the Extra Mile". It's an endurance event designed to help orphans in Uganda. HopeBuilders International (HBI) is an Australian charity that owns and operates a village called - "Village of Hope". Orphans are rescued from the streets and slums and welcomed into the village where they are given the opportunity to live in a safe, loving, family environment - a home.

I'm hoping to raise [Enter Your Fundraising Target] to help HBI expand their work. I'll be going the distance, training hard on the trails before the event and then on event day, I'll be starting at 7am and won't stop until I reach the finish (which will probably be after dark). Talk about a walk!

If you would like to support me in this event, you can sponsor me by donating online at the following address: www.GoTheExtraMile.com.au/Vic/donate.asp

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and all fundraising goes to the charity. If you would like to learn more about the event go to: www.GoTheExtraMile.com.au/Vic.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks!

Hi [enter name of your friend],

I've done some wierd things in my time - but this is certainy out there!
I've committed to an all day endurance walk that is 50kms long - called "Go the Extra Mile."

It's raising money to support work being carried out in Uganda - rescuing orphans and providing them with a home. Truly, building hope into the lives of these precious kids.

The walk is on May 6, 2017 at 7:00am from sunrise to sunset - I'll be walking pretty much the whole day - from 7am till into the night.

So the bottom line is that I'm hoping you might consider supporting my efforts to raise [Enter Your Fundraising Target] to help the charity (HopeBuilders International) with their work. If so, you can sponsor me by donating online at the following address: www.GoTheExtraMile.com.au/Vic/donate.asp

All donations over $2 are tax deductible - to learn more about the event and the charity go to:
www.GoTheExtraMile.com.au/Vic.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks!
